Kidding Kit
Here is a list of items to have on hand
when your goats begin to kid.

Kid Puller - in case the doe is needing assistance.

Latex Gloves - use when doing an internal exam or if you don't
want to touch the gooey stuff.

Blunt Tip Surgical Scissors - to cut the umbilical cord or sack.

Weak Kid Syringe - if you need to force feed for some reason.

1cc syringes - to administer vaccinations to kids.

3cc syringes

1/2in. 22 gauge needles.

Dental Floss - to tie off umbilical cord.

Baking Soda

Nutri Drench - for stressful births

Electrolytes - to rehydrate the goats

7% Iodine - to dry the umbilical cords

Film Container or teat dipper - to dip umbilical cords

Lubricant (OB Lube or J Lube) - in case you need to assist

Molasses - to put in warm water to encourage the does to drink
